白山神社

Ishikawa

Located in the mountains of Ishikawa Prefecture, White Mountain Shrine is a Shinto temple dedicated to the deity of Mount Koma, who is said to reside at the summit of the mountain. The shrine's architecture is characterized by its traditional Japanese design with a wooden torii gate and a large stone statue of a Buddhist monk in front. According to legend, the shrine was founded in 1886 during the Meiji period, when the mountain was visited by Emperor Meiji himself. Today, visitors can experience the tranquil atmosphere of the shrine surrounded by lush greenery and offer prayers for good luck, prosperity, and protection.
