Located in the city of Kanazawa, the Spring Day Shrine is a Shinto temple dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu. The shrine is built on the banks of the Asano River and features a unique architectural style known as 'kasuga-zukuri', characterized by its white stone lanterns and intricately carved wooden pillars. According to local legend, the shrine was established in 1493 during the Muromachi period, and has since become an important spiritual center for the residents of Kanazawa.
