Ishikawa

New Kyoto Shrine, located in the heart of Ishikawa Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the kami Ōtama, who was said to have been worshipped by the legendary emperor Saji no Yoritsunokami. The shrine's architecture reflects its origins as a Heian-period temple turned into a Shinto shrine during the Kamakura period. Its wooden torii gate is a striking feature of the shrine, and the tranquil garden surrounding it offers a serene atmosphere for visitors to contemplate the beauty of nature.
