Located in the city of Kanazawa, Spring Day Shrine is one of the oldest shrines in Japan, dating back to the Heian period (794-1185). Cultural notes
Inari Okami is often depicted with multiple fox spirits, known as kitsune, which are revered for their wisdom and fertility. The shrine also celebrates the annual Obon festival in mid-August, where visitors can honor the spirits of their ancestors.
