Sawara Valley Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the town of Sawara, Ishikawa Prefecture, and serves as the mausoleum of Tokimitsu Ieyoshi, the daimyo who ruled the Kaga Domain from 1610 to 1623. The shrine's main deity is Hachiman-gami, the god of war and patron deity of the Tosa region. The shrine's architectural style is typical of Kamakura period Shinto shrines.

Visitor tip
