Kusatsu Shrine, dedicated to the Shinto deity Uneme no Kami, is located in Ishikawa Prefecture and is famous for its unique pharmacy-like architecture. The shrine's main hall is designed to resemble an apothecary shop, complete with shelves filled with wooden tablets containing prayer offerings and a large 'medicine cabinet' that serves as the altar. Visitors can also see traditional Japanese medicines and artifacts on display.
