Cultural notes

The shrine has strong connections to the mythology of the rice-goddess Inari Okami, who was believed to bring good fortune and prosperity to those who worshiped her. During the annual Rice Festival (Matsuri) in October, visitors can watch traditional dances and music performances, as well as participate in a ritual to pray for bountiful harvests.
