Uesugi-no-Kami Shrine, located in Okayama Prefecture, is dedicated to Uesugi Kojirō and his two sons who are believed to be the kami of good luck and protection. The shrine is situated at the foot of Mount Kurahashi, overlooking the Asahi River. This Shinto shrine has a rich history dating back to the Heian period (794-1185 CE), and its architecture reflects the Kamakura era (1185-1333 CE).

Cultural notes
The shrine is known for its association with good luck and protection, as well as its beautiful gardens which include a walking path along the Asahi River. During the Hachirobei Festival in February, devotees light lanterns to honor Uesugi Kojirō's spirit.
