Shinmei Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in the city of Hitachi, Ibaraki Prefecture, and is dedicated to the kami of the Same River. The shrine's main hall dates back to the Heian period (794-1185 CE), although most of its current structure was rebuilt during the Edo period (1603-1867 CE).
