Located in Saitama Prefecture, Miwa Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of fertility and prosperity, Tamayama no Okami. The shrine is famous for its unique wheel-shaped monument, which is said to have been erected during the Heian period (794-1185 CE). Visitors can also see the remains of an old stone bridge that spans the shrine's main stream. In the spring, the shrine grounds are beautifully decorated with cherry blossoms, creating a picturesque setting.
