Kizuki Shrine

Located in the heart of Katsushika Ward, Tokyo, Kizuki Shrine is a tranquil oasis nestled between towering skyscrapers. As one of Japan's oldest shrines, dating back to the 8th century, it has been an important spiritual hub for locals and visitors alike. The shrine is dedicated to the god of war, Minamoto no Yoshitsune's father Minamoto no Yoshinaka's kami, Yamato no Okami, but it also enshrines Kami such as Fujin (Wind), Raijin (Thunder) and Inari (Rice).
