Kamo Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Kodama, Saitama Prefecture, and is one of the most famous Shinto shrines in Japan. Dedicated to the god Kamo, it was originally established in the Nara period (710-794 CE). Over time, the shrine has been rebuilt several times due to fires and other disasters. The current main hall dates back to the Edo period (1603-1867 CE). Kamo Shrine is known for its beautiful gardens and traditional architecture.
