Located on the coast of Shimane Prefecture, Hinomisaki Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the sea god, Ooishi Yosuke, and the protector of the town, Soga no Tanegashima. The shrine's architecture reflects its coastal location, with a distinctive vermilion torii gate situated on the cliff edge, overlooking the Sea of Japan.
