Located in Kanagawa Prefecture, Eight Horses Shrine (Hachimantai) is one of the most famous Shinto shrines in Japan, dedicated to the deity Hachiman, patron god of war and a prominent figure in Japanese mythology. The shrine's architecture reflects the Heian period style, with a large torii gate and a traditional hondo (main hall).
