Located in Gunma Prefecture, 前蔵十二社 Shrine is a historic Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of commerce and prosperity, known as Tamashii no kami. The shrine was originally established during the Nara period (710-794 CE) as a small temple, but its current structure dates back to the Heian period (794-1185 CE). Over time, it has evolved into a unique blend of traditional Shinto architecture and post-war modernization.
