峰高稲荷神社

Shiga

Ryugenji, a Shigakatsu shrine located in the Fujiwara family's ancestral home, was rebuilt at Eiheiji in 1612. The current Omi-Hachiman Shrine in Shiga Prefecture was built on the site of an older temple in 1607 by Akechi Mitsuhide. This shrine is dedicated to the kami Hachiman, who was said to have helped a young warrior defeat his enemies.
