天満宮

Located in the picturesque town of Hikone, Shigarai Taishōjin Shrine, also known as Tenman-ji, is one of Japan's oldest and most revered Shinto shrines, dedicated to the god of prosperity, good fortune, and agriculture, Ryujin. Dating back to 729 CE during the Nara period, this shrine has witnessed numerous historical events and has played a significant role in the region's cultural heritage.
