Kanagawa

The Twenty-Second Shrine, located in Kanagawa Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the kami of the 22nd ward of Yokohama City. The shrine's architecture reflects the Edo period style, with a traditional gate and a large torii gate. According to local legend, the shrine was built during the Nara period, but its current structure dates back to the Edo period.

The Twenty-Second Shrine was rebuilt after being damaged in the 1923 Great Kanto Earthquake.
