Located in the heart of Sapporo, Hokkaido's largest city, Kozu-Han no Shinshin-jinja is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of winter, Kozu-Han no Kami. The shrine's architecture is typical of Hokkaido's unique blend of Japanese and indigenous Ainu influences. Built in 1898, the shrine has undergone several renovations while maintaining its traditional design.
