橘逸勢神社

Shizuoka

The orange blossom tree is a symbol of the shrine, believed to bring good luck and prosperity in Shizuoka Prefecture. The shrine was originally built in 1633 during the Edo period, dedicated to the deity of agriculture, Ryujin. Visitors can still see the remains of the old shrine's foundation walls, now incorporated into the new structure.

The shrine was rebuilt in 1888 after a fire destroyed much of the original temple.
