Shimane

Ise Grand Shrine, located in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, is one of Japan's most revered Shinto shrines. Dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu and her children, Susanoo-no-mikoto and Tsukuyomi-no-mikoto, it is considered one of the oldest and most sacred shrines in Japan. The shrine complex includes a grand torii gate, beautiful gardens, and several smaller shrines.
