稲荷神明宮

Shizuoka

Ishihara Shrine, located in Shizuoka Prefecture, is dedicated to Inari Okami, the Shinto deity of rice and fertility. The shrine's architecture reflects its historical significance as a major center for the worship of Inari during the Heian period. Visitors can see many fox statues, known as kitsune, which are said to be messengers of Inari, and enjoy traditional sweets and offerings at the shrine's torii gate.
