Shiga

Byugisha, located in Hikone, Shiga Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of war, Yamato no Okami and also Hachiman. It is famous for its unique architectural style featuring a large torii gate and a beautiful garden. The shrine was built during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), reflecting its historical significance as a major center of power in the region.
