Located in small town of Kamikatsu on the northern edge of Ishikawa Prefecture, the eight-spoke shrine is an important Shinto site honoring the god of fertility and prosperity, Hachiman. The complex is said to have been built over 400 years ago and features traditional wooden buildings with tiled roofs, surrounded by a tranquil forested area.
