Koyasan Okunoin Cemetery is not associated with the shrine. However, the shrine is famous for the nearby Koyasan Okunoin Cemetery. Located in Shizuoka Prefecture,熊野神社 (Kumano Shrine) is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the Shinto deity Kumano Okūnimi no Kamī, and is particularly revered by people from the Nishinomiya region. The shrine complex features a distinctive Ryōgoku-zukuri architectural style, with a large torii gate at its entrance. Visitors can explore the shrine grounds, which include several shrines and gardens, as well as participate in traditional festivals and ceremonies. Kumano Shrine is also famous for its connection to the sacred journey of the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route.

歴史
