Located in Hyogo Prefecture, the Bun'yōji Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of war and military strategy, Saigō Takamori's ancestral deity, and the god of fertility and prosperity, Ōkuninushi. The shrine was originally built during the Edo period as a shrine for Ōkuninushi. In 1898, it was re-dedicated to Saigō Takamori's deity after his death. Today, visitors can see traditional architecture, including the torii gate and main hall, which is adorned with intricate wooden carvings. The shrine also offers stunning views of Osaka Bay.
