下妻神社

Ibaraki

下妻神社 is a Shinto shrine located in Ibaraki Prefecture, dedicated to the worship of the kami Torikawa Hachiman and also enshrines Torii, Takahisa, Toritake and Naminowa. The shrine is famous for its beautiful gardens and traditional architecture. The shrine was originally founded during the Heian period (794-1185) but has undergone several renovations over the centuries.
