Shimane

Located in the heart of Shimane Prefecture, Taikashi Shrine is a sacred site dedicated to the worship of the Shinto deity Taikashi. As one of the oldest shrines in Japan, it has been an important cultural and spiritual hub for centuries. 文化的背景

Taikashi Shrine is associated with the legend of the 'Three Wise Men', who guided the Emperor Nintoku on his journey from the island of Kyushu to the mainland. The shrine's festival, known as Taikashi Matsuri, takes place in June and features traditional dances and offerings to the deity.
