Katsuragi Inari Shrine, located in Setsuna City, Okayama Prefecture, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the god of rice and fertility. The shrine is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates forming a tunnel leading to the main shrine hall, symbolizing the connection between heaven and earth. This unique architectural feature is said to be inspired by the myth of Inari Okami, who was believed to have created the first rice field.
