Aomori

Located in Aomori Prefecture, Iwai Tateyama Shrine is dedicated to Tateyama Okami and Tateyama Hoshi-gami, two deities believed to have the power to ward off evil spirits and bring good fortune. The shrine's architecture is typical of a Shinto shrine from the Kamakura period, with a wooden torii gate and a simple yet elegant main hall.
