Ohayashi Inari Shrine

御林稲荷社

東京都 · 文京区

Located in the heart of Setagaya Ward, Ohayashi Inari Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to Inari Okami, the patron deity of rice and industry. As one of the many shrines throughout Japan that enshrine fox spirits, known as kitsune, this shrine is particularly notable for its association with the mythical creature. The shrine's architecture reflects traditional Japanese styles, with a large torii gate and a series of smaller gates leading up to the main hall. Visitors can make offerings to Inari Okami at the shrine's front entrance, where they will find a prominent statue of the deity surrounded by fox figurines.
