蔵主神社

東京都 · 青梅市

Cedarmain Shrine, located in the city of Kawagoe, Saitama Prefecture was originally built on a site associated with the local rice-spirit kami. However, after moving to its current location in Kawagoe in 1914, it is believed that the shrine enshrined the Shinto deity Inari Okami. The shrine has been rebuilt several times throughout history due to fires and other disasters, but its main hall remains largely unchanged since the 1920s. Today, visitors can still see ancient cedar trees standing guard around the shrine grounds.
