Overview
Toko Hotel (Toukou Ryokan) is a small, entirely non-smoking inn in Aoto, Katsushika City, about a 3-minute walk from Aoto Station on the Keisei Main Line. Aoto is the junction where the Keisei Main Line toward Ueno meets the Oshiage Line, with through service to the Toei Asakusa Line and Keikyu Line, plus direct trains to both Narita and Haneda airports. Restaurants, supermarkets, 100-yen shops, convenience stores and pharmacies surround the station, and the inn is popular with international visitors. Rooms include Japanese-style rooms with a calm atmosphere and Room G, a 6-person room on the 4th floor with a double sofa bed, top-brand natural latex mattresses and a bidet toilet. The inn partners with a nearby natural hot spring facility (Tokyo Natural Hot Spring Kodai no Yu), reached by a shuttle bus that departs from and arrives at Aoto Station. From the rooftop, guests can watch Tokyo's summer fireworks festivals, including the Edogawa Fireworks Festival, the Ichikawa Citizens' Summer Fireworks Festival and the Tokyo Sumidagawa Summer Fireworks Festival. Facilities include a coin laundry, a microwave and iron/supplies corner, a disinfection cabinet, automatic locks with an intercom doorbell, and security cameras.
