Non-smoking property
Ten-Gallon Hat is entirely non-smoking with no smoking rooms available. A designated outdoor smoking area is provided, though it may be affected by rain.
No breakfast service
Since summer 2023, breakfast is no longer served. Guests are welcome to bring their own food for self-cooking or BBQ, or pick up takeout from a nearby cafe.
Outdoor sauna by the stream
An outdoor sauna made from a barrel is set up along the stream behind the property, offering a nature-immersed sauna experience.
Overview
Located on the Norikura Plateau at the eastern foot of Mt. Norikura in the Northern Alps, Ten-Gallon Hat & Yum Yum Tree offers a Bed & Beer & Baumkuchen experience rather than a traditional breakfast-included stay. A stream runs behind the property, and guests can enjoy an outdoor sauna, a Baumkuchen workshop and shop, self-cooking or BBQ, and seasonal snow activities on the plateau.
