Overview
Syourinkaku, an ryokan built on a mountain in the northeast of the Aizu region, offers panoramic views of the castle city. The name '松林閣' (Syourinkaku) means 'pavilion of the pine forest,' as the walls are made of wood from pine trees. The rooms provide stunning views of the Aizu basin, especially at night. The ryokan is surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere reminiscent of feudal Japan.
