Overview

SPA&HOTEL Nagomi is a hot spring hotel in Kamata, Ota City, Tokyo, fed by 100% free-flowing natural "kuroyu" (black water) hot spring source. The constantly fresh spring water supplies both the large indoor bath and the open-air bath, and towels and amenities are provided so guests can visit empty-handed. The facility also offers a stone sauna (ganbanyoku) using "kiyoseki" mineral stone, quarried only at the Gozairi mine in Gunma Prefecture, as a ceramic. Room types range from family baths where you can enjoy the free-flowing black hot spring in your own room, to two-storey maisonette rooms, and double and single rooms popular with business and solo travellers. Many guests stay here for business or sightseeing in Tokyo, or for a night before an early departure from nearby Haneda Airport. The on-site Restaurant Waraku serves seasonal menus alongside Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes, light meals, desserts and snacks. In June 2024 the spring was certified as a "beautiful skin hot spring" by POLA's skin science research institute, which found that it enlarges and evens out corneocytes to strengthen the skin's protective barrier and provides a cleansing effect that removes excess sebum.
