Overview
Yumbaru.Life Villas #Nerome01 is a roughly 100-year-old Ryukyuan traditional house in Nerome, Ogimi Village, available as a whole-house rental for one group per day. Once home to a lineage of Ryukyu-dynasty ritual officiants (noro), the house retains a real household altar (tōtōmē) still in use, and it has been renovated to preserve its original character as much as possible. Walk through a small path lined with fukugi trees and the sea appears after about 30 seconds on foot. As an old house set in nature, insects such as centipedes, ants, and geckos may appear indoors.
