Overview
Hotel Shuranza CHIBA is a business hotel in central Chiba City, a 2-minute walk from Chiba-Chuo Station on the Keisei Line and about 10 minutes on foot from JR Chiba Station. The hotel has separate men's and women's large public baths on the basement floor for overnight guests only, with a lock on the women's bath. Guest rooms are modern and fitted with Simmons mattresses, and all rooms have Wi-Fi. Breakfast is a healthy Japanese and Western buffet featuring an original seafood rice bowl and the chef's black curry, while "Kijimuna no Ie" on the first floor serves Okinawan dishes made with ingredients sent directly from Okinawa, along with Orion beer and awamori. Other facilities include a welcome drink, vending machines, a microwave, an ice machine, a coin laundry, and a smoking room. Access to Kaihin-Makuhari Station takes about 35 minutes at the fastest via the Chiba Monorail, making the hotel a more affordable base for Makuhari Messe events than hotels near the venue.
