Know before you stay

The three things overseas guests usually ask us.

Housekeeping on consecutive nights

For consecutive-night stays, hang the blue magnet on the corridor side of your door by 10:00 a.m. for full cleaning (including towel replacement), or the grey magnet for towel replacement only. If neither magnet is displayed, no cleaning or towel exchange takes place. For hygiene reasons, rooms are cleaned at least once every three days regardless.

Parking

Multi-storey car park with 20 spaces at 1,600 yen per night. Note that the streets around the hotel include one-way and narrow roads.

Overview

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Chiba Station stands about a 3-minute walk from the east exit of JR Chiba Station, facing the main street in front of the station and visible from the station rotary, so it is easy to find. Taxi stands and the bus terminal are close by, making it convenient for business, sightseeing, and events or leisure in areas such as Makuhari and Maihama. The surrounding area is a lively downtown district with many restaurants, a department store, and a shopping centre under the elevated tracks that continues all the way to Chiba-Chuo Station. In front of the station you'll also find a distinctive owl-shaped police box, and about 13 minutes on foot is Chiba Park, where the seasons are on full display — from late June to early July it is famous for the Oga Lotus, said to be the world's oldest flower. All guest rooms are at least 18 square metres, with free wireless LAN, a wide desk and bright desk lamp suited to deskwork, and bedside power outlets. Ladies' rooms also come with a foot massager and facial steamer. Breakfast is served at the first-floor Italian restaurant Salvatore Cuomo & Bar Chiba, offering kiln-baked bread from a pizza specialist alongside a Japanese and Western buffet featuring Chiba Prefecture ingredients. The hotel also has a relaxation room fitted with ultra-low-frequency DENBA Health equipment, which is said to support relaxation and restful sleep through a weak electric field (this is not a medical device and results vary by individual).
