Located in Osaka Prefecture, the Eight Saints' Shrine, also known as Yasaka Shrine, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the Eight Immortal Warriors, a group of legendary figures from Japanese history. The shrine's main hall and its adjacent temple were built during the Heian period (794-1185 CE), making it one of the oldest structures in Osaka. Over time, the shrine has been rebuilt and restored several times due to fires and other disasters, with its current structure dating back to the Edo period (1603-1867 CE).
