Cultural notes

This shrine is dedicated to Futsunoyama Hachiman, a kami worshipped by the Imperial Court and associated with road safety, protection from plague and illness, and the prosperity of merchants. Visitors can experience traditional festivals such as the Hakosai (Great Festival) in November, which features street performances, food stalls, and games.
