田代神明社

Located in the heart of Akita Prefecture, 田代神明社 is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the kami of the Tsugizakura tree, said to have been present since the Edo period. The shrine's main hall was rebuilt after being damaged by an earthquake in 1897, using traditional architectural styles characteristic of the Heian period. Today, visitors can experience the serene atmosphere and unique cultural traditions of this historic Shinto shrine.
