Located in the city of Omi, Shiga Prefecture, Pool Carp Dragon God Shrine honors Kannon and the mythological creatures believed to reside within pools and lakes. The shrine is situated near a pond that has formed around an old stone bridge, creating a natural sanctuary for fish and other aquatic life.
