Located in Osaka, Shitennō-ji Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Japan, but it also has a Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity Fushimi Inari Okami. Cultural notes

Shitennō-ji is famous for its 'Festival of Lights' on January 15th, which marks the beginning of the new year in Osaka. The festival features traditional dances and music performed by local schools and community groups, accompanied by the lighting of lanterns along the shrine's paths.
