Located in Akita Prefecture, Ryūjin-sa is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the dragon god, Ryūjin. The shrine's architecture reflects its historical significance as a major stopover on the route to the northernmost island of Hokkaido. Its traditional wooden torii gate and tiled roofs date back to the Edo period.
