Inusato Shrine, located in Saitama, is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the rice goddess Inuzushi, but more famously known as Inari Okami, patron deity of the Japanese rice harvest and weavers. The current structure dates back to 1601, during the Edo period, although it was originally founded in 1622. The shrine's architecture is a prime example of traditional Japanese design, featuring an elegant vermilion torii gate, a wooden five-story pagoda, and a large stone lantern. Visitors can explore the shrine's many shrines dedicated to various regional kami, including Inuzushi and its lesser-known counterparts.
