The Kinro-sa Shrine, dedicated to the god of prosperity and good fortune, is located in the city of Akita, known for its stunning mountain scenery. The shrine's architecture is typical of the Heian period, with a large torii gate and a wooden hall built during the Kamakura era. According to legend, the shrine was founded by the legendary princess Kinro-sa, who descended from heaven on a sword to bring good fortune to the city.
