Ryūgū-jinja, or Tsukidate Shrine in English, is a Shinto shrine located in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. Dedicated to the sea deity Ryūgū, it is said to have been founded by the goddess of the island of Tsukidate and the legendary figure Ryūgū, who ruled over the area. Visitors can enjoy traditional Japanese architecture and beautiful coastal views. The shrine is also famous for its unique tsurumaido (tree climbing) tradition.
