Located in the historic city of Hitachi, Oda Shrine is a Shinto shrine dedicated to the worship of God's light and power. As one of the oldest shrines in the Ibaraki Prefecture, it has been an important center of local spirituality for centuries. Cultural notes

Oda Shrine is associated with the god Oda no Imasumi, who was said to have been the son of a local nobleman. The shrine also hosts an annual spring festival in honor of Oda no Imasumi, which features traditional dances, music, and food stalls.

The shrine was founded in 711 AD, during the Nara period.
