Highmatsumae Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, but it's also known as 高松神社, with its origins dating back to the Edo period. The shrine is dedicated to Matsuo no Okami, the kami of the Matsumae clan who were prominent residents of Hokkaido during the 17th and 18th centuries.
